About the Melba
The Melba Theatre, constructed in 1938, reopened in 2018 after an extensive renovation including the theatre and adjoining properties. It is located at 214 S. Grand Ave. in Houston, Mo.
Melba Theatre
Downtown Houston Inc., which spearheaded the project, makes the theatre available to community organizations to stage a variety of programs, including plays, musical productions and meetings. Additionally, vintage movies are shown at the movie house, which seats 186.
